I had such a great time following along with Richele Christensen's Halloween Configurations Book. She had a contest for those of us posting our progress on her blog http://californiaartgirl.blogspot.com/
I was one of the winners! She was kind enough to award the winners with Tim Holtz new Holly Stencil. Can't wait to try the layering techniques Richele has demonstrated on her blog. I will post my pics as soon as the stencils arrive and I've had time to wash the ink off of my hands.

SATURDAY 11/16/2013
Today's quick project was inspired by Elizabeth Craft Designs, https://www.facebook.com/Elizabethcraftdesigns .
I'm trying to do a project a day. Els has a quick project made with leftovers. I had lots of smaller pieces of paper leftover from a recent matchbox project and some Shimmer Sheetz scraps from a mystery muse project. They were perfect for this project. Here are the results.

BLOG REDUX
I've been stressing and guilting about this blog for quite awhile now, so I am going to change the format and focus to make it more useful and interesting. What finally stirred me to get moving on this is the Halloween Configuration Book project on Richele Christensen's blog at http://californiaartgirl.blogspot.com/2013/09/halloween-configuration.html. I've been wanting to post pictures of my progress on her blog, but my attempts to upload have failed.
It's back to Blogging 1A for me.
Here are pictures of my progress. Sorry, I am not yet fabulous at taking pictures inside.
Thanks so much, Richele, for your awesome inspiration.

Thank you Seth Apter
I just found out that Seth Apter from The Altered Page has put my blog on his Art Blog Directory! That's exciting, so I guess I better start posting regularly again. Thank you Seth for the unintentional kick in the butt! My next post will be about where my journey has taken me since I started this blog.
